Overcoming the fear of public speaking at VMUG events

In my last post on how we can make VMUG events better the topic of having customers present came up and it seemed that the barriers to this were both finding customers and more importantly finding customers that were not afraid of public speaking that would be willing to present. I did a post about 2 years ago on my tips for overcoming public speaking as I was that same person, a customer who was an basically an introvert with no public speaking experience at all who conquered that fear.
